Lukoil says plans to maintain output, relations with contractors

MOSCOW, Mar 17 (PRIME) -- Russian oil producer Lukoil can maintain output and relations with the contractors in Russia and abroad, CEO Vagit Alekperov said on Thursday.

"Taking into account the difficult times… the restrictions, the company is looking for ways to maintain production volumes and relations with the contractors and suppliers on the Russian territory and outside,” Alekperov said, adding that drilling increased by 5% compared with 2021.

“We see a range of possibilities today not to reduce the production figures and even to raise them.”
